8 Ways to Improve Your Online Sales [TIPS]

If you have a great product but need to improve your sales, here are some things you can do to make you seem more trustworthy and legit.

1. Have Clear Contact Information

People will only buy from a website if there is contact information. They need to know they can come in contact with you if anything goes wrong and that you are a real person and not a scam.

2. Have a Clear Return Policy

Give customers enough time to return the product and make it very clear how long they have. Do not be afraid of giving costumers long time to return the product. If your product is really great, you will not have a problem.

3. Don’t Write Anything in Small

Be upfront and put everything on the table. Do not try to cheat or trick your customers in any way. Make the price very clear to the customer so there can be no misunderstandings.

4. Add Reviews and Comments

Allow people to add comments and reviews of the product and the service. If you have a good business with great service, people will be more than happy to leave a kind word on your site, which will encourage others to buy from your site as well.

5. Communicate with People

Don’t hide behind your website. Use the social media to connect with possible customers and subscribers. You need to give something to the community before you can expect to get anything in return.

6. Have Safe Payment Options

Having a safe payment option can really mean everything for your sales. Let people pay through some of the trusted payment methods such as PayPal or Google Checkout.

7. Send Your Customers a Receipt

Make sure to send your customers an electronic receipt to their E-mail address, which will be the only professional thing to do. They have the right to have some sort of written proof of the purchase.

8. Write an Intriguing Product Description

Make people interested from the moment they land on your page. Be very clear in what your product can do for them and why they need to have it. Mention the problems they may have and how this product can solve their problems and make their lives easier. Try to sound real and not only like a sales person who is willing to sell them anything. Connect with people and their situation and show your human and trustworthy side.
